Chris’ practice is devoted to handling the difficult cases. The cases that other lawyers and law firms are unwilling to take on because it is too much work or too complicated. Someone has to help these deserving and injured people. And that person is Chris McCool.
The typical case Chris takes on involves a catastrophic injury or death and a defendant or insurance carrier refusing to accept responsibility. These cases may fall under various categories, including premises liability, drownings, traumatic brain injuries, police brutality, nursing home abuse, collisions involving commercial vehicles, and libel/slander, but have one overriding theme -Chris unmatched work ethic, experience, and results. He also takes on traumatic brain injury cases, Federal Tort Claims Act claims, and South Carolina Tort Claims Act claims.
The people who come to Joye Law Firm are very kind and good people. The least we can do is be upfront and honest with them. We are candid with people about whether they need an attorney. In some cases, they just need a helping hand and can handle the situation on their own with a little guidance.
We cannot ever guarantee a client a certain outcome. But we guarantee that the other side will not outwork us. Through hard work and determination, the lawyers at Joye Law Firm most of the time can get a good outcome for a client.
"Without Chris, I don't know where I would be or what my family would do. He has been with us throughout. At my bedside. With my family during surgeries. Contacting doctors to help me get better. Chris was just my lawyer – now, he's my friend."
What I like about doing this job is helping injured people who sometimes have lost hope. People come to Joye Law Firm who have been treated badly by an insurance company and by someone else. They are uncertain if anything can be done to help them. That is when I like to step in and offer to help them, if possible. Through hard work and research and being an advocate, most of the time we can achieve a positive outcome for that person and restore their hope.
