In continuing our commitment to staying at the forefront of the legal field, several of our attorneys attended the South Carolina Association for Justice’s Annual Advanced Trial Lawyer College in Atlanta in December.

Joye Law Firm Injury Lawyers was represented at the conference with attorneys from across our five offices, including Partners Mark Joye and Ken Harrell, as well as Sophie Dieckhaus, Jeff Gerardi, Robert Howell, William Asche, Eliza Lynch, Tommy Terrell, John Aylor, and Milt Stratos.

In addition to attending the event, Partner and Head of our Litigation Department, Mark Joye, took the stage to delve into the intricacies of Voir Dire. This is the Latin term used to describe the process of attorneys becoming acquainted with the jurors assigned to a case to determine if they can serve fairly and impartially.

Hosted by the SC Association for Justice, the Advanced Trial Lawyer College (ATLC) has provided thought-provoking educational seminars for 40 years. Covering a diverse range of topics relevant to all trial lawyers, the event serves as a crucial platform for legal professionals to exchange insights and foster a deeper understanding of our ever-evolving legal landscape.
