Each weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas, children can meet the jolly old elf and receive a free picture to capture the moment. Join in the spirit of giving by contributing to Toys for Tots and helping “fill the train” with new, unwrapped toys.

Fireflies Holiday Lights

When: November 16 – December 31 (Excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)

Details: Segra Park in Columbia will be aglow with over one million LED lights during the Fireflies Holiday Lights event. With 10 themed areas, this spectacular display will run for 42 nights throughout November and December. From holiday shopping to kids’ crafts and activities, there’s plenty to enjoy. Don’t miss Santa Claus and Mason, the Fireflies mascot, who will make special appearances on select evenings. The park is open from 6 pm to 9 pm, excluding nights the lights are closed.

Kid’s Cocoa & Craft Night at East Bay Deli

17th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot

Details: Get active and work up an appetite at the 17th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot in the scenic Market Common region. This family-friendly event includes a 5K and Kids’ Dash, making it one of the largest races in the area. The race course takes participants through the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Whether you’re a runner, walker, or stroller enthusiast, everyone is welcome. Just leave the furry friends at home—no dogs allowed on the race course.
