Tragically, a man lost his life when his vehicle collided with an Amtrack train in Hanahan on Remount Road near Dutton Ave. The wreck occurred after 4:30 pm on January 16, 2022. According to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office, the victim, a Hanahan man, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
