According to police, the wreck occurred on January 6, 2022 around 11:30pm. The victim’s vehicle and another vehicle collided near the 200 block of Broad Street in Sumter. Tragically, and despite being transported promptly to Prisma Health Toumey, the victim succumbed to his injuries the following day.
