Description of Accident: A 24-year-old driver from Summerville has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that occurred in Moncks Corner on July 4th. A driver traveling southbound on Highway 52 overcorrected causing their vehicle to collide with another. The impact caused the other vehicle to roll over multiple times and ejected the victim. The victim’s vehicle came to a rest on the northbound lanes, and despite being transported to Trident Medical Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
