Description of Accident:
South Carolina authorities have charged the driver of an 18-wheeler after a crash that claimed the life of a Rock Hill man. The wreck, which involved five vehicles, occurred just before 4pm on I-85 near Blacksburg. South Carolina Highway Patrol said the victim was a front-seat passenger in a pick-up truck that was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler. A third and fourth vehicle were also hit, while a fifth was struck with debris. The driver of the tractor-trailer was charged with driving too fast for conditions. Sadly, the victim passed away at the scene.
