Description of Accident: A crash involving an Amazon delivery truck and a 2008 Lexus occurred Monday afternoon around 5:10 p.m. on Pacolet Highway in Cherokee County. The Amazon truck attempted a left turn into a driveway and collided with the Lexus. The driver of the truck, the driver of the Lexus, and the front-seat passenger were hospitalized with injuries. A backseat passenger, a 61-year-old male, died at the scene. The Cherokee County Coroner’s Office confirmed the fatality, and the investigation is ongoing by Highway Patrol.
