Description of Accident: A tragic crash near mile marker 51 on I-85 claimed three lives at 5:15 a.m. Sunday. A northbound vehicle in the southbound lane triggered a collision involving three vehicles. The victims, identified as a 27-year-old from South Carolina, a 45-year-old woman from Georgia, and a 69-year-old man from Alabama, lost their lives. Other individuals sustained non-serious injuries. Two dogs and a ball python, that were traveling with family went missing at the time of the crash, and were later found by Anakin’s Trails Animal Search.
