Description of Accident: A fatal Friday night crash resulted in the closure of a section of Bees Ferry Road for several hours. The incident involving a vehicle rollover occurred around 7:17 p.m. near Dove Haven Court. A Chevrolet Equinox, traveling southwest, crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Ford Escape. The Chevrolet’s driver was transported to MUSC, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Ford’s occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The road remained closed until 11:20 p.m. while police detectives conducted their investigation.
