Joye Law Firm Injury Lawyers is proud to share that Atty. Sydney Lynn, head attorney of the firm’s Columbia office, has been named to South Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s 2025 Personal Injury Power List. The annual Power List highlights attorneys who demonstrate exceptional leadership, a strong record of results, and a commitment to the legal community. Honorees are selected through peer nominations and evaluated by the Lawyers Weekly editorial board based on their success in litigation, experience in personal injury law, and professional reputation.
Atty. Sydney Lynn has built an impressive track record fighting for the rights of injured individuals across South Carolina. Some of her work includes a $1.35 million settlement for a motorcycle accident, a $500,000 trial verdict for the victim of a tractor-trailer crash, and an $800,000 settlement for a third-party car accident claim. These results reflect not only her legal knowledge but her unwavering commitment to securing justice for her clients.
Since joining Joye Law Firm, Sydney has become known not just for her legal skill but for the way she builds meaningful relationships with those she represents. “Trust is a critical component of my relationships,” Lynn stated. “If I have the trust of my clients, then we can get through those hard times together.” Her compassionate and client-first approach has earned her praise from those she serves. As one former client shared, “Sydney was so professional and was prompt and understanding of my situation and concerns.”
Beyond her legal practice, Sydney has dedicated herself to advancing the legal profession statewide. Atty. Lynn was elected President of the South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) in 2024 and has served on the Board of Governors since 2015. In addition to her current presidency, she’s held several leadership positions, including Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Her work with SCAJ has extended into numerous committees, including the Legislative Steering Committee, where she has played a pivotal role in shaping public policy. Sydney has even testified before lawmakers, lending her experience and insight to protect the rights of injury victims across the state.
For Lynn, personal injury is far more than just a career; it’s a purpose. “My work chose me,” she says. “I knew from a young age that I was called to a career path that served others.” Clearly, that sense of purpose has been the foundation of a legal career defined by passion, advocacy, and impact.
Please join us in congratulating Atty. Sydney Lynn on this well-earned recognition!
