Music On Main Concert Series

The City of North Myrtle Beach will be hosting free Music on Main Street concerts in Myrtle Beach all summer long. Concerts are for all ages. Don’t forget to bring your beach chairs with you!

Coastal Uncorked Food and Wine Festival

Enjoy the best in food, wine, spirits, arts and entertainment. With more restaurants per capita than any other city in the state, Myrtle Beach is home to more than 1,700 dining establishments. Guests will be able to enjoy samples of rare, specialty one-off and craft beers from all over the country, live music, food from area vendors and a a souvenir beer tasting glass. Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival

The Beach, Boogie and BBQ Festival is an Official BBQ Championship of South Carolina with over $8,600 in cash and prizes up for grabs by 25+ BBQ teams competing for points. Attendees can sample delicious barbecue from competing teams on Saturday from 12-1:30pm by purchasing $1 sample ticket. Festival schedule can be found here with events ranging from corn hole competitions to live entertainment on Main Stage.

The Myrtle Beach Home Improvement and Outdoor Living Show is scheduled to take place September 9, 2016 – September 11, 2016. The show is sure to highlight the latest and greatest in modern living, ranging from windows and doors to techniques for growing herbs and more. This three-day event shouldn’t be missed for those who want to pick up tricks of the trade and new ideas for their South Carolina home and yard.

Sos Fall Migration

Standing for the Society of Stranders, the SOS Fall Migration is an annual event that’s characterized as the “biggest adult party on the east coast.” Falling in line with the end of summer and the birds’ migration south for the winter, the SOS Fall Migration is an opportunity for dancers with soul to find their end-of-season rhythm and get in the spirit with shag dance. This is an adult only event. The 10-day event will include clauses taught by shag dance instructors, live music, two big block parties in the street, tea parties, and hanging in the famous SOS lounges. There will also be a number of street vendors, plenty of food, and the infamous Fun Sunday and Fun Monday events.

Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival

The 37th annual Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival, which always takes place on the third Saturday in September, is nearly here! This festival is one of the most popular events in the Myrtle Beach area, and has a rich nearly four-decades’ long history. The event hosts hundreds of different vendors from around the state, offers plenty of yummy food for festival goers, is the home of the Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down beauty pageant for children up to age 19, features live music and dance entertainment, kicks off with a parade, and has a number of kid-friendly events and entertainment options. If you’ve been craving funnel cake, this festival cannot be missed!

Irish Italian International Festival

Love pasta or beer? Want to try a cannoli? Love the bagpipes? Come from a large Italian family? If any of the above are true, then you are someone who must attend this year’s Irish Italian International Festival. This unique cultural event brings together approximately 15,000 people to eat, drink, enjoy music, peruse different vendors, watch street performers, and more. The event is appropriate for people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

Some entertainment that is scheduled for this year’s event include Band on the Rum, Port City Pipes and Drums, a spaghetti eating contest, performance by The Academy of Dance and Fine Arts, and much more.

Brew at the Zoo

If you love beer, live entertainment, and wild animals – and especially if you love all three – then the annual Brew at the Zoo event is the ideal way to mix up your average Saturday night. Make it a date night or a night out with friends, and enjoy the more than 30 craft beers, food and wine, silent auction, live entertainment from Bullfrog, and of course, the zoo animals!

This is an adults-only event. The silent auction and Brew at the Zoo is being held to generate proceeds for new projects. Brew at the Zoo is a wonderful way to kick off the end of summer, greet the new fall season, and give money to a worthy cause.

Not to be confused with a bicycle rally, the Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally is designed for motorcyclists.
