Description of Accident: On the University Boulevard exit ramp from Interstate 26, a toddler fell from a moving car, suffering severe injuries. A quick response from a nearby servicemember, a North Charleston Police officer, and timely medical care at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital saved the child’s life. The incident is being investigated by the S.C. Highway Patrol.
