Description of Accident: A three-vehicle collision occurred in Greenville County, leaving one person dead and five others injured, as reported by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The incident took place around 8:01 a.m. on Cooley Bridge Road (Highway 247) near Canty Road on August 13. According to authorities, a Toyota Tundra and Honda Accord were northbound on Cooley Bridge Road, while a Kia Stinger was traveling south. The Kia crossed the center line, colliding with the Toyota and subsequently being struck from behind by the Honda. The 38-year-old driver of the Kia, from Lexington, lost their life at the scene, while all five occupants in the Toyota sustained injuries. The Honda’s driver remained unharmed.
