Description of Accident: A severe three-car crash occurred on Highway 544 at Cox Ferry Road Monday night around 6:15 p.m. Five individuals, one who was reported to be trapped, were rushed to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. The extent of victims’ injuries are undisclosed. Crews blocked lanes to aid the injured, investigate, and clear the wreckage, with support from the Conway Fire Department. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash’s cause.
