Description of Accident: A pedestrian was hit and killed in a hit and run accident on around 10pm on March 5 in Greenville. According to reports, the 27-year-old man was attempting to cross South Pleasantburg at Mauldin Road when he was struck by a northbound silver or gray Dodge Caravan. The caravan fled the scene, but reportedly sustained front-end damage and lost a rear-view mirror in the wreck. Police are asking for the public’s help to locate the driver.
