Description of Accident: A 49-year-old Bluffton man died after a Toyota sedan struck him late Friday night. The man had reportedly been lying on the roadway near Moncks Corner shortly before the accident occurred. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on US-17A South Live Oak Drive. The man’s identity was confirmed by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office as they investigate the crash alongside the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
