Description of Accident: A 70-year-old man was killed early Friday morning in Anderson, SC after being struck by a vehicle. The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on East River Street near South Jefferson Avenue. A 2015 Chevy Tahoe was traveling east when it hit a pedestrian who was standing in the roadway. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
