Description of Accident: A 74-year-old man was struck and killed by a Honda Civic while crossing SJ Workman Highway near Sam Davis Road around 10 p.m. on Friday. The man was attempting to check his mailbox when the collision occurred. The victim died at the scene, and an autopsy is being conducted by the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.
