Description of Accident: Authorities responded to a fatal crash near the BMW plant in Greer on Monday evening involving a Jeep and a Honda sedan. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the intersection of Gateway Drive and Brockman McClimon Road around 6:10 p.m. when a Jeep Wrangler traveling through the intersection struck a Honda sedan attempting to turn left. The driver of the Honda died at the scene, while the driver of the Jeep sustained injuries and was taken to Greer Memorial Hospital. The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office is conducting a forensic exam as part of the ongoing investigation.
