Description of Accident: The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the West Columbia Police Department are investigating a fatal crash that happened when a motorcyclist traveling westbound on Augusta Road lost control of his vehicle while attempting to enter the I-26 eastbound on-ramp. Sadly, the 63-year-old motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say the crash occurred Monday around 7:00 am.
