Description of Accident: A woman has been identified by the Cherokee County Coroner’s Office as the victim of a fatal crash near Gaffney. The incident occurred on SC Highway 11, and involved a 2016 Chevrolet pick-up truck and a 2020 Armada SUV. The driver of the Chevy pick-up crossed the center line and collided with the Nissan head-on. The woman, a 63-year-old from Forest City, was pronounced dead at the scene. The front passenger of the Nissan and driver of the Chevy were also injured and taken to Spartanburg Regional. The accident is being investigated by the SCHP.
