Description of Accident: A collision near SC 101 and Highway 296 in Greer, S.C. claimed a life just before 11:20 a.m. on Saturday. The Greer Police Department reported that a Nissan Altima, traveling southbound, struck a stationary Honda CR-V waiting at a traffic light on Highway 101. The Nissan’s driver, identified as a 43-year-old male, succumbed to injuries after being transported to the hospital.
