Description of Accident: A 68-year-old Columbia resident was fatally injured when attempting to cross Bush River Rd. around 10 p.m. The incident involved a northbound Hyundai sedan striking the victim near the intersection of Ivanhoe Drive. The SC Highway Patrol and Lexington County Coroner’s Office are actively investigating the matter.
