Description of Accident: On Wednesday at 9:07 a.m., a collision on Highway 19 near Black Creek Road occurred, involving a Chevy Tahoe and a Mitsubishi Mirage. The crash occurred when the Chevy Tahoe crossed the median and struck the Mitsubishi head-on. The Mitsubishi driver, a 65-year-old woman from Dillon County, later succumbed to injuries at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. The crash is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
