Description of Accident: A fatal collision between a Ford SUV and a Greenwood Commissioners of Public Works Dodge Ram occurred on Monday morning in Greenwood County, South Carolina. The Ford crossed the center line on Highway 254, resulting in a head-on collision with the Dodge. Tragically, the Ford caught fire upon impact, leading to the death of the 25-year-old male driver from Honea Path. The driver of the Dodge was injured and taken to the hospital. The incident was confirmed by the Greenwood County Coroner’s Office and investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
