Description of Accident: A 77-year-old Spartanburg resident was fatally struck while exiting a Bojangles parking lot onto Southport Road on Thursday. The victim was driving a 1994 beige Toyota Corolla and was hit by a southbound 2016 white Acura TLX. The driver of the Corolla was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:25 p.m., as confirmed by the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office. Two others were injured, their conditions are unknown.
