Description of Accident: A pickup truck ran a stop sign at US-213 and collided with a westbound Ford Transit on Jenkinsville Road on Dec. 11, 2023. The Ford’s driver and passenger were hospitalized at Prisma Health Richland Memorial, where the driver succumbed to injuries. The Fairfield County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are actively investigating the collision.
