Description of Accident: A February log truck wreck in Ridgeland claimed the life of a 55-year-old woman. According to reports, the driver of the log truck driver was traveling west on U.S. 462 (Gillison Branch Road) when he ignored the stop sign at the intersection with Cypress Branch Road. This caused the log truck to collide with the woman’s Buick. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene .
