Description of Accident: A 73-year-old man was tragically hit by an 18-wheeler while riding his bicycle in Fairfield County. The cyclist was traveling West on Hwy 34 in Ridgeway when he was fatally hit by a truck traveling in the same direction. The accident is currently under investigation by the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
