Description of Accident: A 70-year-old woman in a motorized wheelchair died at a local hospital after colliding with a vehicle on Oak Street in Conway. The incident occurred on Saturday at 1:10 p.m. at the intersection of Oak and Boundary streets. The victim was ejected from her wheelchair into a ditch and was being treated by fire department and EMS personnel when police arrived. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly trying to avoid the wheelchair. As of Tuesday morning, no charges have been made, and no foul play is suspected. The Conway Police Department is investigating the crash.
