Description of Accident: A fatal accident occurred on Wednesday evening in the vicinity of the Esso Club on Highway 93 near Perimeter Road when a 68-year-old pedestrian from Clemson was struck by a vehicle. A Clemson University student was driving the vehicle and was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence. The Clemson police department is investigating the crash.
