Description of Accident: Authorities are investigating the death of a 91-year-old woman who was fatally struck in a hit-and-run incident on Storm Branch Road near Silver Bluff Road in Aiken County. The victim was found at the scene and pronounced dead. The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) is working alongside the Aiken County Coroner’s office and the SCHP Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) to gather information.
