Description of Accident: A woman from Hardeeville, South Carolina died in a crash on I-95 on Sunday afternoon. According to Colleton County Fire-Rescue, a pickup truck traveling south near the 42nd-mile marker swerved to avoid another vehicle, went into the median, and struck several trees. The female passenger suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male driver survived with non-life-threatening injuries. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and I-95 was reduced to one lane for about 1.5 hours during the investigation.
