Description of Accident: A 22-year-old woman will face a reckless driving charge after causing a multi-vehicle crash on Folly Bridge Wednesday night. Witnesses reported that she was driving from James Island to Folly Beach at a high speed around 8:15 p.m. that evening. In an attempt to overtake another vehicle on the bridge, her car collided head-on with another car. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, while information about other injured individuals remains unavailable. Charleston County EMS and Charleston County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene.
