Description of Accident: The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday morning. According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway, the incident took place at 9:37 a.m. when a 2013 Hyundai sedan, traveling west on Dorchester Road near Brandywine Drive, veered off the road and collided with a concrete wall. The driver was transported to Summerville Medical by EMS but was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed at this time.
