Description of Accident: A Greenville man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the 2018 drunk driving wreck that left a 68-year-old Pamplico man dead. In the 2018 wreck, the defendant was traveling on South Pleasantburg drive when he attempted a U-turn neat Melvin Drive, causing a crash with an on-coming vehicle. The driver was charged with DUI (driving under the influence). Tragically, his passenger died from injuries sustained in the crash.
