Meet Robert Howell

Thanks for stopping by. My name is Robert Howell, and I represent people who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents or sustained serious injuries in slip and fall accidents, dog attacks, or other premises liability accidents. I also represent injured workers in South Carolina who need help pursuing workers’ compensation benefits after an on-the-job injury. I am based in the firm’s West Ashley office and serve people across the Lowcountry.

For me, becoming an attorney just made sense. I’ve always wanted to help others who couldn’t help themselves, and being an injury attorney allows me to do that and much more.

Early Life and Education

Robert grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, which is part of the greater Washington, D.C. area.

He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in criminal justice.

He attended the Charleston College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2020. While attending law school, Robert worked as a paralegal at a law firm that handled personal injury cases.

Robert’s Approach With Clients

When he meets with new clients, he listens carefully to understand how the injury has affected the person’s life and how he can best address the client’s needs. Robert shares Joye Law Firm’s commitment to personalized client service.

Robert was inspired to pursue a career in law by his father who is a real estate attorney in Maryland. From a young age, he saw the positive difference that a caring lawyer could make in the lives of people who needed legal assistance.

Robert is based at Joye Law’s North Charleston office.

When he is not practicing law, he enjoys playing golf and basketball, boating, and going to the beach with friends. Robert also enjoys working on cars, and is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
