Moonshine Country Line

A group of locals help save the day as roadhouse melodies light up the night. This hilarious tale is jam-packed with popular tunes from cash to cline; it is a funny and possible tear-inducing musical. A menu of champagne cocktails, wine, craft beers, soda floats and savory snacks are available.

STOMP

From its beginning as a street performance in the UK, STOMP has grown into an international sensation. A unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy, STOMP has created its own inimitable contemporary form of rhythmic expression. Performers use household and industrial objects as musical instruments and wordless communication through dance and drum.

Jackie Evancho in Concert

Jackie submitted her rendition of “Panis Angelicus” to the 5th season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”. The overwhelming response earned her the opportunity to perform in front of judges on live television. Opening for Jackie is Chris Mann, Mann rose to fame as Christina Aguilera’s finalist on NBC’s The Voice. Enjoy Jackie’s performance at Charleston Gaillard Center on November 12th.

Yallfest: Charleston Young Adult Book Festival

Saturday begins with an opening keynote conversation between Victoria Aveyard and Sabaa Tahir, two bestselling authors who have quickly established themselves as strong, engaging voices in young adult fantasy. Later there is a featured talk by a beloved children’s author, Eoin Colfer. To close the festival, authors Adam Silvera, Nicola Yoon, and Julie Murphy will conduct a table discussion on a range of topics.

Ultra Chili 50K

The ultra marathon is a race distance longer than a marathon. The Ultra Chili race will be 50K in length, which equates to approximately 31 miles. The continuous loop 50K course is open to individuals as well as teams of two to four participants. The participants may compete in the race in a relay style followed by a post-race party and awards ceremony with hot chili provided by Ladles.

39th Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble 5k

Give thanks this Thanksgiving morning by helping to give back to your community. Joing the 39th Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble on Thanksgiving morning in downtown Charleston. This 5K starts and ends in Marion Square. Also, don’t miss the lively after party with live music, free beer, and tons of great food courtesy of Earth Fare.
