Description of Accident: A deadly three-vehicle crash on Friday night on I-26 near mile marker 44 left two people dead. A 2021 Ford pickup was traveling west in the eastbound lanes when it struck a 2016 Volvo SUV head-on. Following the initial impact, a 2026 Honda SUV traveling east collided with the Volvo. The drivers of the Volvo and the Honda were transported to a local hospital with severe injuries, where one succumbed to their injuries, while the driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
