Description of Accident: A devastating crash in Greenville, South Carolina, on the evening of July 4th left several teenagers hospitalized and claimed the life of a 15-year-old girl. According to family members, the group of teens had been on their way to pick up fireworks when the collision occurred. Authorities say a Jeep Cherokee ran a red light at an intersection and struck a Toyota Camry head-on. The Camry was carrying several teens, and the force of the impact resulted in serious injuries to multiple passengers. Tragically, one of the passengers—a 15-year-old girl—died from her injuries. The driver of the Jeep is suspected of driving under the influence, and an investigation is underway. The driver of the Jeep was charged with four counts of felony DUI with great bodily injury and one count of felony DUI involving death.
