Description of Accident: A 30-year-old man was killed Friday night in a crash on College Park Road near Andrews Boulevard in Ladson. Authorities report that a 2021 Ford pickup truck traveling west ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The man, who was a passenger in the truck, suffered fatal injuries and later died as a result of the crash. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
