Description of Accident: A fatal incident occurred in Anderson County on Thursday evening when a man was pinned by his own truck. According to the Anderson County Coroner, the man had just returned home around 7 p.m. and exited his vehicle when it failed to shift into park. As the truck rolled, the man attempted to stop it, but it came to a rest against a tree, pinning him. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner’s office and local authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
