Description of Accident: A fatal pedestrian crash occurred Sunday night at the intersection of Gervais Street and Park Street. A 29-year-old man ran a stoplight and struck a man and a woman who were walking in a crosswalk. Both pedestrians were transported to a local hospital, where the man later died from his injuries. The woman remains in critical condition. The driver was arrested and charged with felony DUI resulting in death. The incident remains under investigation.
