Description of Accident: A single-vehicle crash in Oconee County resulted in the death of a 92-year-old female passenger on Monday night. A Chevrolet minivan was traveling along Cheohee Valley Road around 8:30 p.m. when it veered off the right side of the road near Whitmire Church Road and struck a tree. The passenger was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
