Description of Accident: A fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Emerald Road South and Kateway in Greenwood when a 2023 Ford pickup truck traveling west on Emerald Road collided with a 2001 Chrysler minivan traveling north on Kateway. The Ford truck entered the intersection and struck the minivan. All three individuals involved—the truck driver, the minivan driver, and a passenger—were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Tragically, the 69-year-old male passenger in the minivan later succumbed to his injuries. The condition of the other individuals has not been disclosed.
