First Thursday On Main

On the first Thursday of each month, businesses in Downtown Columbia participate in the First Thursday on Main by keeping their doors open late, offering specials, events entertainment and more! City Center Partnership’s Yellow Shirts offer complimentary shuttle services along Main Street and to and from the Vista.

Secret Keeper Girl ‘The Purple Party Tour’

Junior League of Columbia’s Clean Sweep

Clean Sweep is Columbia’s one-day rummage sale help in the Cantey Building at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. This rummage sale features new and used items donated at affordable prices. Items include handbags, jewelry, books, music, games, children’s toys and clothing of all types and styles. This fundraiser raises the necessary funds to support the Junior League of Columbia’s mission and community projects.

MGC Long Run 15K | 5K

McAngus Goudelock & Courie is proud to bring the MGC Long Run 15k|5k back to Columbia for the fourth year. The 2016 race benefitted the USO South Carolina and had over 850 runners and walkers and 125 volunteers. The USO lifts the spirits of America’s troops and their families The races will be followed by a family-friendly, fun party at the First Citizens Courtyard on the corner of Main and Lady.

Lexington’s Race Against Hunger

The 17th annual Lexington’s Race Against Hunger (LRAH) will take place February 25th, 2017. This race raises awareness levels of hunger both locally and worldwide, and distributes donations to various charities. Over the past 16 years LRAH has raised a total of $354,545.31 in donations. To encourage health and wellness at your workplace or organization, group discounts are offered. All groups of seven or more receive a $3 per person discount.
