One entry per person. Entrants must be South Carolina residents age 18+. The first 50 winners will be selected on May 20, the next 50 on August 26, and the final 50 on October 21. Winners must complete their spay or neuter appointment with Charleston Animal Society by December 31, 2025. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. This promotion is not valid for certain breeds of cats and dogs: Hybrid cats, including Bengals, Savannah cats, Toygers, and Pixie Bobs. Hybrid dogs, including Wolf dogs and Wolf dog crosses. Brachycephalic breeds that are ineligible: Dogs: French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Boxers, Pekingese, and Pugs. Cats: Himalayan, Persian, British Shorthair, and Exotic Shorthair. If you do not know the breed of your pet, please include the breeds they most resemble. Cats must be at least 12 weeks old and weigh a minimum of 2 lbs. Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old. The maximum weight for surgery is 80 lbs. All animals must pass a veterinary exam before surgery. Animals 7 years or older may be subject to additional restrictions. Charleston Animal Society Spay and Neuter Clinic reserves the right to decline surgery for any animal if the procedure is deemed a health risk. Animals with human aggression or that cannot be safely handled (including leash and restraint) are ineligible. All animals must meet medical and behavioral qualifications determined by Charleston Animal Society veterinarians. Each animal will receive a one-year rabies vaccine along with the spay or neuter surgery. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
