Description of Accident: Investigators have identified the body discovered in a burned vehicle in the Longs community on Saturday as a 20-year-old man. An officer was dispatched to assist Horry County firefighters responding to a vehicle fire on Bullock Trail, located roughly 500 feet off West Bear Grass Road. Upon extinguishing the flames, firefighters found a severely burned body in the back seat. Authorities confirmed the vehicle had been intentionally set on fire, and the incident remains under investigation as a homicide.
