Description of Accident: In North Charleston on Saturday morning, a single-vehicle collision claimed the lives of two victims. An 18-year-old from Hanahan was driving on Altamaha Drive around 12:50 a.m., when he lost control and struck a tree. The 20-year-old passenger, a North Charleston resident, also succumbed to injuries sustained in the tragic incident. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene by 2:15 a.m. The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office are jointly investigating this devastating event.
